application package Liquid/gas Solution

A number of surface coatings especially supported bilayers are only stable at the solid/liquid interface or the properties of these membranes differ strongly between the solid/liquid and the solid/gas interface. Also the interaction between a surface and adsorptives from the liquid is of increasing interest.

The application package consists of the following components, suited to specific needs for solid/liquid experiments:

• Solid/liquid cell for kinetic measurements
• Kinetics / SPR cell for kinetic measurements
• Peltier temperature control device in the temperature range of 5° - 75° C (allowing also rapid temperature ramps)
• Liquid handling consists of a valve unit, a peristaltic pump, tubings and a measuring chamber
